Origin

How it all started

The concept of the Draw Club was conceived by Coen Rens in February 2012, with the intention of being able to practice drawing in a fun way.

The idea was to be able to meet in a fixed café on a fixed day of the week without any obligations.

The name ‘Draw Club’ is a reference to the film ‘Fight Club’, with the hope that the concept would spread underground to other cities, like in the film.
