Sumi-e is the Japanese word for ink (sumi) painting (e). It's a painting technique that uses ink on rice paper.
Materials
A sumi-e brush, an inkstone, an ink stick, and/or rice paper. These materials are available at Terpen Tijn and Towi in Leiden. In Amsterdam, Ta Hwa (also online) is a good option.
